Finally! The last book. Now, I can finally get the truth. Right?
Nope, there are a lot of loose ends. And his name is Eric. Collin and Ivy? Well, I think you know what happened. Actually, I hope you don't know what happened. Because the ending of The 13th Prophecy was just weird. So weird that I had no idea what the hell is going on in it. Okay, maybe I do know what was going on, but for the most part, it was weird. And strange.
I'm not even going to talk about Ivy Taylor. All that happened is just pure, stupid luck.
And the ending. There are just so many loose ends. And too many "Happily Ever After"s. I hate them. This girl does not deserve them. Especially because of her stupidity. And her so-called "curse" isn't really a curse. Especially after that guy... And because modesty is really easy to get over. You lose it sooner or later.
Overall, The 13th Prophecy is really irritating. Some parts of the book is too convenient and utterly such a letdown. I wish there would be an epic plot... Oh, too much? Maybe that is too much spoiler and not enough opinion?
And now the two boys:
Eric reminds me of a twisted serial killer who loves causing pain than making other people happy. Honestly, I think Ivy deserves him. Then they can rot in hell together. Yeah, I totally think so. Sorry, but I don't have pity for the strangest characters.
And Collin. Just be dead.
Overall, I'm so glad to be over this series. The only redeemable part is probably the plot, but even that is a bit of stretch. The plot was disappointing. I pretty much wanted Ivy Taylor to die. (And that is not the most violent parts of my thoughts).

Someone please tell me why the fate of the world lies in the hands of a single girl. Oh, yeah. I remember why. Because the plot demands it. Dang it.
Satan's Stone, the fourth book in the series, has nothing to do with Lucifer or the devil. Well, technically, it does have things to do with the King of Hell, but there is no Lucifer sadly. (Sorry, I'm part of that fandom which loves Lucifer. The only fandom that likes Lucifer. Supernatural, anyone? The actor of Lucifer, Mr. P., is brilliant.) So there are angels, demons, two boys, and Ivy Taylor in between. (Honestly, why is the fate of the entire world in a single girl's hands?)
Ivy Taylor is still stupid. And now, the author is trying to cover up her stupidity. Just don't. If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it is a duck. Or a stupid duck. No, it is a stupid duck. (Metaphor time!)
Now onto those two guys:
Eric is officially a jerk. And Collin is even worse, but I'll explain that later because Collin takes too much time (especially if I tell spoilers, gasp!) Anyway, Eric is pretty much a douchebag with a lot of anger issues. That is the easiest way for me to sum it up without getting into spoilers. Maybe there might be daddy issues (aka: God), but it really hasn't been touched on. Oh, crap. That was a major spoiler, if you know what I mean.
Collin is a lying son of a ding dong. He lied about nearly everything. Tell me why he is a good friend of Ivy Taylor? On the second thought, they belong together.
And my thoughts on these two guys? They are way too old for Ivy Taylor. Eric is at least two thousand years old (and maybe even more). Collin is younger in the years, but he is still seven hundred or more years older than Ivy. Someone has a thing for old guys?
Okay, that was just the wrong thing to say. And weird thing to say.
Overall, Satan's Stone is okay. It is bad in characters, because none of the characters have a consistent character trait. I'm not kidding. None of them are stable, and at least two of them have bipolar personality. And Shannon. Don't get me started on her, too. The only thing good is the plot. That is it.

Okay, Torn is a better than the first book, Demon Kissed. The only redeemable element of the entire book is perhaps the writing and the plot. I'm not kidding. Those are the only two redeemable parts. Everything else (from the characters to the pacing) is just not worth it. Thanks to her fascinating plot, I'm addicted to some parts of the book but not other parts.
It is official now. Eric is a jerk. He is now a Valefar with a lot of darkness. But also with a bit of light. There is hope in him, but I'm not to focused on that. Eric is Eric. He is a jerk (and not redeemable so far, but we'll see how it goes).
Collin, the other love interest of Ivy Taylor, makes everything even more complicated. There is there an air of mystery surrounding him. Even though he is Ivy's former best friend, Ivy doesn't know everything about him. Not even his real character traits. In fact, everything about him is open to debate. But I'm not going to be debating about him. He is not worth it.
In fact, none of the characters are truly worth it. The only exception is the nun, Al. She is a Seer, someone who can see the future. As an old woman, she holds much wisdom and is pretty much the guide of Ivy, Eric, and probably even Collin.
And don't get me started on Ivy Taylor. This is a girl who is just plain stupid. Bella Swan-ish. No, she is pretty much Mary Sue Poots.
The plot continues on strong. It is really addictive (and I'm really desperate for some books). I can't stop reading even though Ivy Taylor makes a bunch of stupid decisions and can't see the most obvious things. What is this girl? Blind? Could had fooled me.
The writing, on the other hand, is good. It is fairly easy to read, and I don't get too much of a headache like some other books.
Overall, Torn (the third book in this series) is the best so far. But compared to other books of the same genre, it is probably the worse. On the bright side, the angels are coming.

Okay, Cursed might be still redeemable. (But I'm sort of desperate for books here. I can't go to the library anytime soon, so I will have to borrow from fellow neighbors).
Ivy Taylor is still an idiot. I'm not going to go into her character, but I'm going to say that she makes tons of stupid mistakes. If you don't know a world very well (or even a certain person), you study it (him or her or it) as hard as you can before it might kill you. This is what happens when stupid people take meth without looking into what is in it. Of course, there is no nutrition label on the back of package, but it is pretty much guarantee that there is probably going to be some household cleaners in there. And maybe some dead bugs. And rats. Screw it. This is why there are no nutrition labels on the back.
Okay. I need to get back on topic.
The love triangle makes me sick. Here are the candidates:
Eric. He is the former teacher, who is now a very bad man. Oh, yes. He is a very bad man. He is the enemy, and apparently, he has a lot of problems. Anger issues. At least, that is what appears so far. Oh! And I'm not even sure if he is a good love interest. He seems kind of... violent? And crazy. I liked him better when he was just a warrior and a teacher and nothing else.
And Collin. He still remains... Well, unpredictable. And lost. Stuck in the Underworld, so that would be difficult for him to get together with Ivy.
And really, Ivy shouldn't end up with either of them. She is that terrible.
Okay, it looks like this review is going to put cut very short.
Cursed has only one redeemable trait. That is the plot. The plot makes everything so interesting, but it is so demanding. Because it cuts the characters of their traits. It turns Ivy into an idiot. Eric into a jerk. Collin into a missing guy who may or may not be helping a demon. Shannon (Ivy's former best friend) into a patriot betrayer and well, there is a few more, but I'm not going to name them all. Otherwise, that would be spoilers. Major spoilers.

I'm going to say that Demon Kissed has pretty much nothing to do with angels and demons. Well, maybe demons. Angels have yet to appear. Demons appeared at the end, but I'm not going to explain it all. It is a bit complicated. Then again, all books are complicated... so? I guess it's a stalemate?
I'll explain this world H.M. Ward created. Martis is the good guys. They are forces of lights (aligned with the angels) and fight for the good. (Kind of like Nephilim, I believe?) Oh, and they are immortal. Isn't that a shame? (Already, I'm sadly comparing this to Twilight). Valefar is the demons. They aren't exactly demons like demon demon, but they are fairly close to it. For the sake of simplicity, let's just say that Valefar is demons on earth while demons are demons in their home dimension. Okay, that just didn't make any sense. I should say that Valefar are evil beings on earth while demons are demons. I hope that makes a bit more sense. Anyway, this is obviously a fight between good and evil. Sounds a bit like... Well, it sounds like a lot of books. And stories. And tv shows.
Ivy is one weird character. I have no idea what she is like. Seriously. After reading this entire book, I have no idea what she is like. For some parts of the book, I declare her really stupid. For others, I declare her idiot and ignorant. For other parts... Well, let's just say that not all words are as colorful as the ones I used. Sometimes, I feel like Ivy is one weird character. Oh, crap. I already said that. (Sign of Alzheimer's?) Anyway, I would be seriously worried for my fate if she holds the fate of the world in her hands. For the record, I'm going to say that this girl is the last person who should be all-powerful and so trusting of others. I have more faith (a whole lot more) in Crowley. Even Lucifer (I trust he fails, which he did, so that is kind of the entire point)! (Supernatural reference, right there!)
Unfortunately, there is a love triangle. And no, it is nothing like Rose and Dimitri. Eric (one of the love interest) is a good warrior (like Dimitri) and the main character's teacher (like Dimitri). (Dang, I should had drawn more parallels between The Vampire Academy than Twilight or Supernatural). But he doesn't have great chemistry with Ivy. Ivy and Collin, on the other hand, has the same amount of chemistry as a lamp and a curtain (aka: does not exist). Honestly, there isn't much of a relationship between many of these characters. Most of them have trust issues, love issues, usage issues (that sounds a bit weird), kissing issues, and trust issues (I do realize I repeat that).
Overall, I'm going to say that Demon Kissed is boring yet also interesting (but only because of the angels part, which they didn't even show up for; so I'm probably not going to read the next book). The only redeeming part is probably the prophecy, which I don't even know (sounds like Percy Jackson to me, now). I don't know. It is bad, but not too bad. Bearable, yes. In some parts. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. That is for sure.
